For Atkinson, this is a return to the format he started his career with.

The last sketch show in West End was The New Revué in 1986, as on the West End scene he returned for the last time in 2013.

It will be reunited with his former associates Richard Curtis, Ben Elton and Howard Goodall.

The show will be run by Raz Shaw, though music is composed by Goodall.

The public will be able to see people again as Mr. Bean and Edmund Blackadder as well as sketches from the Nine OClock News, along with new materials.

Atkinson himself said that after 40 years he thought it would be a pleasure to return to the sketches that started everything for him and Richard Curtis.

Tickets go on sale October 7th at 09:00, until the general sale starts that same day at noon. /Telegraphy/
