case “Bon Vivat” returns to court, Dukagjin Lekaj appears before the court today

The first court hearing against Dukagjin Lekaj, also known as Dukagjin Nikolaj, will be held today at the Constitutional Court in Pristina, in connection with the armed crash at the local locale Bon Vivantı, where Kastriot Ramadani was killed and several people were injured.

Lekaj is accused of grave murder in the attempt and possession, control or unauthorized possession of arms, while the prosecution claims he tried to deprive Andy Pajazit of life.

The case takes another dimension to the fact that Pajaziti, who in the previous process was accused of killing Ramadan, had been acquitted of this charge after the court had concluded that it had acted in necessary defence.

The signal newspaper has reported in detail the new indictment, which describes the circumstances of the August 4th 2023 crash and the actions the Prosecution ascribes to Lekaj.

The indictment against him was established on October 29, 2026, while tomorrow’s session marks the start of the trial review for the case.

Dukagjin Lekaj enjoys presumption of innocence and his eventual criminal responsibility remains to be determined by the tribunal.
