The Kosovo government has introduced the draft budget for 2027, which totals 4.27 billion euros.
Prime Minister Albin Kurti announced that the planned budget is 200m euros higher than the revised budget for 2026 and 300m euros higher than the original one.

Of the total amount, 908m euros are meant to be earmarked for direct financing of Kosovo municipalities.
During the presentation, Kurti said economic growth has affected the expansion of the budget and the sustainability of public finances.
He stressed that Kosovo’s economy has scored 5.4 per cent growth in the first quarter and 4.1 per cent in the second quarter of this year.
Kurt named the budget as a record for both municipalities, citing increased funding through government grants.
Following the adoption of Government, the 2027 budget bill is expected to proceed with the Kosovo Assembly for review and vote.
