The Vatican Press Office announced that the Pope, born in Chicago, has exercised his right to vote as American citizens.

He has also voted during his years in Peru, whenever he had a legal right to do so.

In the statement, the Vatican stressed that the Pope believes participation in democratic processes is both fair and obligation of citizens.

Otherwise, the medium-term American elections, scheduled for November 3rd, will determine the composition of Congress for the last two years of President Donald Trump’s mandate. /Telegraphy/
