IKosovo Police chief Refki Morina has estimated that lack of uniforms and police equipment directly affects the efficiency and operation of the rule forces.
He has stressed that responsibility for this negligence should be sought by procurement officials and those dealing with this area.

Morina has said uniforms and technical and technological equipment are basic elements for police work and that the supply with them should be planned over time.
The question of uniform and police equipment is a basic, operational issue, where even the graduates, but police officials, are most necessary. Therefore, the change of uniform in time, in due time, in winter and in summer, as well as other technical, technological, and technical equipment that police must have with them affect the quickest operation, efficiency of the police, and specifically in fulfilling the constitutional obligations of the Law for Police, he said.
He has stressed that procurement procedures should be launched before the deadline of use of uniforms and equipment, so the supply can be made at the right time.
I think it needs to be thought in advance, before the uniform and technical equipment deadlines and so that the procurement will take place, the procurement requirement will be made earlier, so that, in due time, police officers will be equipped with uniforms, but also the Cadets, Morina said.
According to him, responsibility for this situation should be sought by officials who are engaged in procurement and supply processes.
This neglect, I think, should be the responsibility of procurement officials, even officials who deal with this issue. Therefore, I think they should have responsibilities in this regard, because uniforms should not be absent from police officials, but also the cadets who graduate, but neither the technical, technological equipment, which they have and which are the main basis for carrying out patrol jobs, operatives, and other jobs, a framework of the Law for Police, he said.
In recent days it has been reported to the media for lack of uniforms for police officials, as well as for delaying the graduation ceremony of the new Kosovo Police Cadets, due to lack of uniforms. / EO
