The signal newspaper has secured the identity of the person suspected of the brutal murder of a woman in the village of Vitomirica of Peja, on Sunday night. The event is even more shocking because the victim had returned home from a police patrol after denouncing domestic violence just minutes before being found without signs of life.

Signal sources suggest that the suspect is Albert Sylaj, brother-in-law of the victim, Arlinda Silla Zekaj (1977), who allegedly hit him with a axe in the head and later left the scene.

Everything happened on October 25, 2026, on Man Dedushaj street, in Vitomirica.
