During September, 8 new cases of HIV/ AIDS, all men, according to the Public Health Institute report.

According to age distribution, 4 belong to the 30-39 age group and one person in the 15–19, 2029, 40-49 and 50-59 age groups.

Two dead persons, reported earlier as HIV cases, were reported in 2015 and 2018 respectively. Both belong to the 40-49-year-old group.

According to existing data on reported cases (as of 30,09,2026), the total number of HIV-registered cases/ AIDS in 2026 is 49, and the quantum number of persons registered with HIV/ AIDS in Macedonia, for 19872026, is 778, out of which 144 people died, 520 people still live with HIV/ AIDS, while 114 are listed as missing for chase.
