Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps navy said on Thursday that four ships involved in illegal oil transfers to the northern Persian Gulf were hit.
The ships were involved in the flames simultaneously after being tracked by its forces Wednesday, abcnews.al writes.
The IRC added that three other ships ran into mines west of the Hormuz Strait, and warned the US Army that continuing provocations could lead to a broader response against its regional bases.
