The Commission for Legislation has approved in principle, unanimously with 9 votes for the Bill on Change and Fulfilling the Law for Specialised Chambers and the Office of Specialised Prosecutor.

The chairman of the Commission for Legislation, Vogan Qorrolli, said objections and reactions to this norm structure, according to him, should be made in 2015 and not now.

The reactions and objections that have been made against this norm structure made by the Kosovo Assembly were due to take place in the summer of 2015, not in autumn 2026, Qorroll said.

He stressed that the Commission is unified in its stance on legal changes.

We’re in a situation where we as a commission, all of us will unanimously approve. We are here to give our vote for these amendments to the law, Qorrolli said.

After the vote, Qorrolli claimed the bill was adopted in principle by 9 votes for, without votes against or abstention. /Telegraphy/
