PDK Speaker Vlora Citaku’s task officer, Vlora Citaku, has announced that today the first meeting of the Task Force for the drafting and harmonisation of the State Strategy concerning appeals procedures before the Specialised Chambers in The Hague has been held.

Citaku, who is also a member of this group, has said the participation of representatives of Albanian parliamentary parties testifies to a common political, civic, state and national awareness of the importance of the issue.

According to her, in the spirit of the September 28th Parliament Declaration, the main directions of strategy have been discussed at meetings, responsible groups have been appointed for drafting it, and the overall work plan has been determined.

Our goal is for our rescuers to have the full support of the state of Kosovo in their battle on appeal, Citaku wrote.

It has announced that, along with drafting the strategy, commitment to the law aimed at strengthening the rights of KLA deliverers is continuing.

Stressing The KLA unites us, Citaku has estimated that protecting the truth of the liberation war, values and heritage of the KLA is a responsibility that exceeds party differences.

It has stressed the need for joint commitment to counter the act of first degree, which it has deemed unfair, and to ensure liberations of all legal means and guarantees in the appeals process.

On a day and in no moment will rescuers leave them alone!
