The Board of Directors of the Kosovo Privatisation Agency held the regular meeting, in which a series of decisions of importance for fulfilling its mandate were reviewed and adopted.

As for sales with public tender the Board in accordance with its mandate also decided on the announcement of the SAL 77 privatisation wave with 87 assets. Respecting the demands of institutions to withdraw assets from the waves due to general public interest, the Board decided on the removal of two assets from the SAL/76, as follows: Unit 01 NS Bankkos Banchal in Decani and unit 67 New Earth’s Agriproducing Earth in Down Below Shipashnica.

As for the direct sales process, the Board reviewed the initial recommendation reports, which after review approved as legal 6 requirements and instructed the continuing management of the further procedure, while 14 requests were rejected and 1 request left the agenda for further harmonisation. Also adopted were 7 final reports of direct sales including the sale price, as well as the continuation of the sale completion procedures. Regarding the sale of NS residences, the Board approved the Commission’s report, where 1 case was approved, 3 cases of rejection and 1 case was outside the Agency’s competencies, AKP reports.

As far as renting was concerned, the Board’s information report on the results of the investigation of the Group III of the rented asset Group has been discussed in terms of the identity of the annual sub-ciraditional cases and the informative report on the results of the investigation of the Group III agricultural assets issued by rent ʹ the identity of hard material event construction. The board also approved the direct rent under Kosovo Telecom’s request for business space assets in northern Mitrovica, the property of NS Trepca 50.

In the process of liquidating social companies, the Board approved the distribution of resources for NS creditors as follows: 1) NSh NIN Ramiz Sadiku A total of 54,219.17 for 32 creditors, 2) NSh KB Drenica A total of 14,550.40 for 12 creditors, and 3) NSh ximkos PRN092 in the total sum of 15,638.39 for 12 creditors. The Kosovar Privatisation Agency remains committed, in line with its legal mandate, to advance privatisation, liquidation and social asset management processes in a transparent, professional, and in the function of protecting public interest, the AKP reports.
