Albania’s embassy in Montenegro today informed that four young Albanian students, detained on October 31st in Kotor, have been released without condemnation after the court hearing is concluded and headed towards Albania.
In a report published on social networks, it is suggested that, according to information received, the ban followed a verbal conflict with a Montenegrin citizen, as students had made the symbol of the two-headed eagle.

According to the embassy, from being aware of the event and until the completion of legal procedures and the departure of students towards Albania, the embassy representative has stood by them, offering consular assistance.
The embassy has been keeping constant communication with Montenegrin authorities, family members and teachers at all times.
According to Montenegrin authorities, respect for minor rights has been guaranteed during procedures, and a lawyer, translator and psychologist has been provided.
Albania’s Embassy in Montenegro praises co-operation with Montenegrin authorities and remains committed to protecting the rights and interests of Albanian citizens. /Telegraphy/
