Great Britain is preparing for the second season-appointed storm, Boello, which is expected to hit the country on Saturday, bringing strong winds and heavy rainfall.

Met Office Deputy Prime Minister Chris Bulmer has warned that the storm will bring difficult weather conditions over the weekend, while citizens have been called on to attend weather forecasts and official warnings.

The Boello storm is expected to arrive less than 48 hours after the Austen storm, the first designated of this season, which is expected to affect Britain on Friday.

Because of the Austen storm, Matt Office has issued an orange warning and two yellow warnings of strong winds, including Cornwall, the Scilly Islands and parts of Western Devon.

According to meteorologists, Austen and Boello are two separate, low – pressure atmospheric systems. The first storm is expected to bring strong winds and rains to the southern parts of the country before leaving towards the North Sea on Friday evening.

Meanwhile, attention will focus on the Boello storm, which is expected to bring unfavourable weather conditions to northern Britain over the weekend.
